Led by Angie and Josh Blackson, this team will fly into Nairobi, Kenya to serve in the Mukuru and Kibera slum districts with Sports Outreach's team. The trip will focus on relational community development through SOI’s faith-based programs (chess, sports, education, fashion institute, and discipleship training) with an emphasis on hands on engagement and leadership.

- devotions with the staff daily
- engaging in soccer, chess, and basketball sessions with kids of all ages
- participating in drawing and arts sessions with kids
- assisting with food preparations and serving porridge and/or lunch to children in local schools
- spending time in conversation and prayer with families connected to the ministry

Requirements
Prerequisites
- An active passport good for at least SIX MONTHS beyond the return date (September 16, 2026)
- A Kenya entry authorization (eTA) - exact details to be provided one month prior to travel
- A Tanzanian entry authorization or visa - exact details to be provided one month prior to travel
- Meet with your local physician/PCP regarding possible travel vaccinations necessary for travel. SOI offers guidance based on the the recommendations of the CDC.
