We're excited for families of Santa Barbara Community Church to have the opportunity to share God's love, be a beacon of light, and deepen their faith as they connect and engage with the community in Jarabacoa, Santo Domingo, and San Juan, Dominican Republic! The team will connect and engage with youth, participate in baseball programs, and interact with the local community.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Passport- All team members will need to have a valid passport to travel to Dominican Republic. If an individual’s passport expires within SIX months of the return date, then he/she needs to plan to renew the passport. Passport information can be found on the US Department of State’s website (https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html)
Restrictions
- You have to be connected to Santa Barbara Community Church
Preparation
- It is important that you plan to make a visit with your local physician for guidance on medications and vaccinations in relation to your personal health. The trip health requirements/recommendations below are guided by the Center for Disease Control’s suggestions for travelers, which can be found in detail at https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/el-salvador
- Recommended vaccinations - be up to date on routine vaccinations and Hepatitis A and B, and Typhoid
- We encourage travelers to carry a filled prescription for an antibiotic (typically Ciprofloaxin) for possible stomach troubles.
