I am honored to share that I have an incredible opportunity to travel to Africa with Westmont’s Women’s Soccer team on a missions trip. This experience allows me to combine two things I am deeply passionate about: my faith and using soccer as a way to connect with others. This trip is about much more than soccer; it is about serving others, building meaningful relationships, and supporting communities that need it most.

During this trip, our team will serve local communities through outreach, soccer ministry, and relationship-building, while sharing the love of Christ through both our words and actions. I am excited to step outside my comfort zone, learn from the people we meet, and witness how God is already at work in new places.

This mission is especially meaningful to me because I have always had a strong desire to help others and show compassion. I have seen firsthand how kindness and love can change someone’s life, and I want to be part of that. Being able to serve alongside my teammates makes this opportunity even more special. 

I believe this experience will challenge and grow me spiritually, strengthen my perspective, and remind me of the importance of serving with humility, joy, and love. I am incredibly grateful for the prayers and support as we prepare for this trip, and I look forward to seeing how God uses this trip to impact both those we serve and our own hearts.
